The Muppets make their comeback in the upcoming special, The Muppet Show

Miss Piggy, Kermit the Frog and the entire Muppets ensemble return to the stage, but this time with special guest Sabrina Carpenter

The Muppet Show will premiere on ABC and Disney+ on Wednesday, Feb. 4

The return of The Muppet Show is finally here, and with a very special short n’ sweet guest.

Sabrina Carpenter appears alongside the icon herself, Miss Piggy, in the first teaser of the upcoming special The Muppet Show, which aired during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest.

Throughout the teaser, Carpenter is seen going along with the Muppets’ shenanigans and wearing matching outfits with the star of the show, Miss Piggy. In one clip, the global pop star hypes up Miss Piggy and calls her an icon. The diva, who needs no reminder, replies, “You’re too sweet. Go on.”

The “Espresso” singer’s cameo comes months after she “arrested” Miss Piggy at the final show in her Short n’ Sweet Tour in Los Angeles. Before performing her hit song “Juno,” Carpenter looked out into the audience for her last arrest.

“You guys are so beautiful it should be a crime,” she said to the crowd before turning to Miss Piggy and Bobo the Bear. “Like you, gorgeous. I’d know that face anywhere!”

During their cheeky banter, Carpenter asked Miss Piggy if she was enjoying the show, to which she replied, “I’m loving it! I mean, I do have a few notes. I’ll share them with you after the show.”

Bobo the Bear, who's a security guard, put his fellow Muppet in handcuffs, saying, “Let’s go, Pig… Tell it to the judge, sister."

Elsewhere in the teaser, Seth Rogen, a fan of the beloved show, is seen chatting with Fozzie Bear, confessing, “It’s always been a dream of mine to be here,” to which he replied, “Ooh, got any other dreams?”

Rogen serves as the executive producer of the special. In a Dec. 17 Instagram post, Rogen shared that he’d “been working the better part of the last decade to try to bring my favorite show back… and it looks like I’m getting close.”
