Krys Marshall is thrilled about the “next little chapter” in her life.
While debuting her second pregnancy on the red carpet at the 31st Critics' Choice Awards in Santa Monica, Calif., on Jan. 4, the Paradise star told PEOPLE in an exclusive conversation how she, husband Ted Dolan and their 2-year-old son are feeling about expanding the family.
“Overall, I’m feeling really good. This is our second baby, so it’s kind of like old hat, I’m familiar with it,” the actress, 36, said. “I just feel so blessed — baby is healthy, I’m healthy and I’m excited for this next little chapter.”

Two-and-a-half years after giving birth to a boy in 2023, Marshall turned up to the Critics' Choice Awards in style while hugging her baby bump.
“I am wearing a German designer called Sehnsucht, and I wanted to wear something that felt celebratory of womanhood in this kind of crazy time where your body is sort of not your own,” she said of her champagne dress with an embellished turtleneck top and a skirt that draped at the waistline.
She added, “It was also important to me that I did something that felt sort of subdural and kind of formal. Most of all, I feel comfortable, thank God.”

The expectant mother, who was in attendance to celebrate Paradise’s Best Drama Series nomination, completed her look with textured pointed-toe heels with floral appliqués and David Yurman and Elyzian jewelry.
While Marshall knows the sex of her impending baby, she is choosing not to share that information yet. She did, however, give some insight into how her 2-year-old son feels about welcoming his first sibling soon.

“He is so excited about becoming a big brother,” Marshall said.
The proud mom added, “He’s very attached to the new baby and talking to the new baby, and it’s wild, and hopefully it stays that way once the baby arrives, but he is just the greatest little champion of his new sibling.”
Season 2 of Paradise premieres Feb. 23 on Hulu.
