On June 4, the Princess of Wales, 44, visited The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester to shine a light on the healing power of holistic care, alongside clinical care, for people living with cancer.
The engagement was personal for Princess Kate, who announced in March 2024 that she was undergoing treatment for cancer and said in January 2025 that she was in remission.
The royal wore a cobalt blue Eponine coat dress for the solo outing, sporting the blue hue in tribute to the National Health Service (NHS). The NHS is the U.K.'s publicly-funded healthcare system, and The Christie is the largest single-site cancer center in Europe.

The blue coat dress is a piece Kate has worn previously, donning it before for a COP26 reception in 2021.
She kept the attention on the pop of color with Gianvito Rossi beige suede pumps and completed the look with some poignant jewelry.
The Princess of Wales accessorized with her gold Vanleles Honeycomb Bee hoop earrings, but removed the honeycomb charms so the earrings only featured bees.

Bees are the symbol of the city of Manchester, and the industrious city is "rightly proud of its link with the hard-working insect," according to Visit Manchester.
Manchester is considered the world's first industrial city, and its worker bee symbol proudly reflects "a city made by the workers; not a city that has grown from royal patronage or easy natural resources," per the tourism board.
Princess Kate added a little shimmer with an Astley Clarke pendant necklace with a deep blue lapis lazuli gem and her signature ring stack, and wore her brown hair in loose waves.

The Princess of Wales got a firsthand tour of The Christie on Thursday, which is renowned as one of Europe's leading cancer centers and cares for over 60,000 people a year.
The hub uniquely offers complementary and holistic therapies free of charge to patients and their carers, and Princess Kate shared an especially emotional moment with 30-year-old Claire Lorente and her family as she commemorated the end of her treatment for breast cancer.
"This is your day," she told Lorente just before she rang a celebratory bell, a rite of passage to signify the close of that chapter.
