A London, England native, Head made his first television appearance in the English World War II series Enemy at the Door. He proceeded to have a prolific career with over 140 screen credits. Head also made a memorable turn in The Iron Lady, a Margaret Thatcher biopic starring Meryl Streep.
"It has been, and forever will be, an honour and a privilege to be his daughters, and to have witnessed firsthand the impact both he and his work have had on so many," Head's daughters said in a statement.
