In a new TikTok shared on June 2, Alix Earle shared that she recently went out on a date, and she noted that she's been trying to put herself out there more

She's previously opened up about coping with her breakup from ex Braxton Berrios, and how she's handled running into him

Earle defended herself in response to a comment questioning why she was going on dates if she still gets emotional about her split from the NFL player

Alix Earle is shutting down judgmental comments about her life.

On Tuesday, June 2, the influencer posted an un-GRWN TikTok taking off her makeup and updating her followers on what she's been up to and what she is looking forward to. Earle, 25, recounted a photoshoot and interview she did recently and discussed her plans to travel to Monaco. She also noted that she went out on a date the night before.

She admitted that the plan was "sort of last-minute," but she still felt compelled to go meet with the unnamed person. "I just need to put myself out there a little bit," she explained.

The Dancing with the Stars finalist ended her relationship with NFL player Braxton Berrios, 30, in December 2025, about two and a half years after they confirmed their relationship in 2023. She's opened up about coping with the breakup — and their public run-ins since the split — in numerous posts over the past six months.

In her last "get un-ready with me" video, Earle continued to explain that she's been less active with dating since she is both "really busy" and "really picky." She also admitted that she feels "fine being alone," though she said she enjoyed her recent date.

"I met the guy before, so I think I just felt really comfortable, so it was a good night," said the TikToker, who is set to star in her own upcoming Netflix reality show, Earle Meets World.

In the comments, one TikTok user called out Earle's decision to go out with potential romantic interests. The person referred to her video shared on May 25, when the social media star said she got emotional after seeing her ex on a night out.

"I find it super weird to be crying over [Berrios] 2 weeks ago but then starting to date," the comment read. "It's messy to start dating when you still have feelings for someone else."

Earle replied to defend her feelings, writing, "I'm allowed to be sad at times still I'm a human."

In her May 25 TikTok about seeing Berrios, Earle said their exchange was "normal and fine" and that they were "joking around with each other." It was only after they went their separate ways that she confronted the reality of their relationship being over, and she started to cry.

"Sometimes you just can't help it. Sometimes you're just a girl, and sometimes water just falls out of your eyes. And sometimes that happens, and that's okay," she said in the video. "So I did the responsible thing and called myself a car home and cried to my dog, but I'm fine."
